The things about kids in this (or my) generation, is that everyone owns a phone. I really don't see a point of having a phone at such a young age. Also in school I'm mostly the only kiddo that doesn't own a phone. I don't know why kids need one at a young age, phones are used for calling people. Not playing games!

I own a hand-me-down phone. It's useful, but outside of listening to music, calling people, and checking Miiverse, I don't use it often.

i only use miiverse because it's the only 3ds-viable social media, the 3ds being my only mobile device

Kids have always sweared, and you could use a phone to call for help its also a way to keep in touch with friends and family.
