    Someone did an analysis and said they're not complete assets so this is not a Capcom situation where you're being charged for something that is already in the game. It sucks that they weren't in the game to begin with but its hardly as simple as people are making it out to be.

    It's a similarish situation to Hyrule Warriors, which had characters appear in the story mode that were later added in via a free update. Admittedly, those characters *had* complete assets (they were the OG antagonists), so it is a bit apples and oranges, but in comparison it's definitely worse. Also afaik the only problem is that they have clone movesets; while I could see that being a problem

    for most of them, Oboro's moveset comes from the enemy infantry lancers. That's unique for the player cast. Granted, I have no idea how "complete" that moveset is, but given that she's a named character I'd imagine that it would be pretty filled out.

    As I’m playing the game right now, I have seen no clones and am almost done with story mode. And from what I know cecila is more a zelda clone from HW than a marth clone, and idk about lyn. That doesn’t mean dlc won’t have clones, it just mean base game doesn’t. Anyways, the game plays just like any other warriors, and feels the best they’ve had in years tbh.

    Weren’t Elise/Leo and Takumi/Sakura clones...? Even if they aren’t, I never said that the game was filled with them - only that the unused characters had clone move sets assigned to them.
