CPTH: What was the point of Gamefreak announcing that US & UM would be the last main series pokemon games on the 3DS? I think that's something that we've more or less figured out after they announced a new Pokemon game for the Switch. Still, with so many big franchises leaving the 3DS, I can't see it doing too well in 2018.

    Seriously, I thought that franchise has "abandoned ship" ad far as the 3DS goes. I guess Gamefreak wants to send this one off before the hanheld goes bye-bye.

    Well, maybe not a lot of people, but a vocal minority, I suppose. They made enough noise for me to remember them, at least. I googled "why isn't x and y on the ds" and found some people complaining about it on a forum, so there's something.

    I also have people in denial that pokemon switch is main series, as they think there’s going to be a 4ds or something and that pokemon switch isn’t main series because it has paid online and it will be sort of like BR/stadium or colo/XD
