Im a little worried, I was on swapdoodle, but I decided to go on miiverse to check my notifications. When I was on the title screen (not the people and earth screen), it was taking a long time, so I figured it was taking a long time loading, but it was about five minutes until I realized that it froze, so I kept pressing the power button. After about a minute of that, it turned off, ↓↓↓↓↓

    Generally a DS's processor can't seem to handle having a game and Miiverse open(even if its a new DS) At times the DS will fail to load the Home Menu at all. There's nothing wrong with your Pokémon game.

    it probably just crashed. mine has issues with loading properly/error messages about wifi when the signals fine. its nothing u should worry about unless it happens too frequently.

    By the way holding the power button down for a few seconds will force shutdown your DS even if it's frozen.

    Sometimes it just takes a long time for me. So I just go to the home menu, go back, and it works fine! Nothing to worry about!

    Thank you everyone! I usually click a bunch of things fast too, without realizing I did. I know someone else that they're 3ds froze for 5 minutes and I told them to turn it off.
