    well, it depends if your talking about if you can do everything you can on wii u on ds (thats what i call it)then no but if your talking about the fighters you can get and how or can you crossplay offline then yes

    Same fighters & same custom moves for said fighters but there's more stages, Smash Run was replaced with Smash Tour [which is kinda boring honestly] More Music [I think] Classic mode looks different but its really not, Master Core is an additional boss for playing on 9.0, Bowser Jr. isn't unlockable [I don't know why they did that] & of coarse Different Graphics

    Well, in spite of different graphics, a couple exclusive stages and modes, they're both pretty much the same game.
