Can anybody tell me WHY nintendo is shutting down Miiverse?... I just, don't see the point... i mean, i love Miiverse. Am I the only one?

    Miiverse was built from the ground up for wiiu. They just piggybacked 3DS on to it. And there's most likely not enough 3DS owners using miiverse to continue supporting it. 3DS isn't going to be around much longer either.

    I don't see why the addition of a SINGLE console that almost no one owns, results in Miiverse getting shut down.... Nintendo is dissapointing a lot of people. Miiverse was one of the only places I could go and be accepted for who I am.

    Standard console transition. They do it all the time, when they move on to the next console, they cut support for the previous system.

    That's stupid. They should just add the switch to Miiverse, or at least wait a year or two before shutting it down.

    All I can tell you is get use to it. It's been happening since their first transition from nes to snes. Pretty soon the servers will shutdown and you can't play MK8 online.
