    What am i crying about, Nintendo will eventually own these IPs sooner than later! Capcom isn't doing very well and it's only a matter of time before Mega-Man & Street Fighter belong to all mighty Nintendo, lol!!!

    I disagree, putting mario stages or characters in SF would be sacrilege, not that they most definitely would, but the chance of it happening would instantly go up by 100% Plus capcom is doing alright, japanese arcade are still filled with their ip's/hardware, plus resident evil is a cash cow, plus their back catalogue (rivals nintendos imo) is a goldmine.

    Also "capcom" or whoever, is likely making about the same amount of doh per year now that they dont have to pay rent on x amount of properties, and x amount of employees. Downside of that is the only AAA ip/game that they will focus on will be res evil (which went downhill fast after re3 imo)

    Megaman is dead. The series producer actually went to work on mighty no. 9, and then he ran off with the money, and gave the backers a half-finished project. I doubt that series will come back. Plus, Capcom seems uninterested in the switch now, despite it being built accordingly to their needs.

    No, they shouldn't. No benefit in that when they can sell to a much bigger potential audience as a third party. Nintendo have several first party fighting game IP's now too so they don't need another, also who's to say they'd make good use of them when they neglect a lot of their existing IP as it is like F-Zero or Advance Wars etc

    Nintendo doesn't buy IPs do they? I can't recall Nintendo ever buying the rights to an IP, only licensing the rights to publish certain games like Pokemon & Tetris. Well with Pokemon they have an invested interest in the company. Other than that they license out to companies to help make games. But buying IPs? I don't think Nintendo has or will. Capcom has been concentrating on mobile for awhile!

    @George, just found out Capcom is going bankrupt, i would love to see Nintendo at least buy Megaman, Nintendo would do that franchise great honor by releasing great games based on that IP!
