    Okay, I'm probably gonna get pitchforks aimed at me for my opinion but... I didn't find Splatoon as appealing as Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8. Don't get me wrong, I loved the concept of Splatfests and its co-op mode, but I just got so disinterested when playing online regularly for about 20 minutes, but the campaign though I actually had more fun with.

    Which may sound a bit odd considering that I had some legit friends playing online with me, I guess with me being more of a casual gamer using squid abilities fighting off against A.I. baddies and unique bosses felt more at home for me. I know, the campaign can be beaten in the average time of an hour and a half but finding all the little notes did at a bit more playtime to that.

    With that said, I ended up selling my copy and I moved on with Mario Kart and Smash Bros. instead. It was fun while it lasted, but for me it's hard to want to pick up again.
