    Did you know that if you're falling a long distance while shield surfing you can pull up Daruk's Protection and it will completely protect you from any fall damage that may occur. One time I flew off of Death mountain and dropped towards the ground, falling at high speeds, pulled out the shield for surfing midair, put up Daruk's Protection and walked away as though nothing happened.
