Last time I said it was my last post...

But Miiverse is ending soon, so I guess one last goodbye is in order. For those who don't know me, I'm a Ryu player from Texas who had his humble beginnings on Miiverse before discovering his local competitive scene. Used to talk here all the time. Take people's challenges and what not. I thought I was good then, but it was only the start.

    Kinda sad to see this place go. I did my best trying to help this toxic Miiverse community grow. And to help people get better at the game. I made a lot of friends, who have stuck with me on Discord, so I had little reason to stick around Miiverse. Still, memories are memories. RIP Miiverse.

    I feel like I've grown as a player so much sense the old days on Miiverse. Since leaving, I've taken games off of top players in my region, taken a few games off of Girthquake and Captain Zack. Won a few tournaments. Feels like a long journey so far... even if it's only been 2 years. Anyway, if anyone is up for some Q&A, I'm down.

    I haven't seen you around Miiverse but I gotta say congrats. You took stocks from Girthquake and Captain Zack!? Zack is the Bayo player right? Either way you seem to be a very respectable player, wish I could play with you but lag :'(

    So, you're a Ryu player? What other characters do you play, if any? I have 4 mains: Lucario, Marth, Fox, ZSS. And a large pool of secondaries. I may only be 13, but I've been to major tournaments. You seem like you have a deep understanding of Ryu from my analysis of your playstyle.

    @Alien: I haven't been on Miiverse in a very long time. And yes, Captain Zack mains Bayo, and is currently ranked 7th in the world. I took more than just stocks, I took games. Not in tournament mind you, just ran into him on FG.

    @Charls: I only play Ryu competitively. But I'll sometimes play Mario, Marth, Mewtwo, and occasionally Cloud. But yeah, Ryu is my only main, no secondaries. And because of this, yes, I feel I have attained a very deep knowledge of how to play Ryu. You play as just 1 character for so long you get comfortable, you learn the little details that most people don't know. Mained him for 2 years.
