People may think that humanity has improved, that society has improved, but in reality basically the only thing that improved is technology and communication. Yes, communication HAS given the average person more......influential power, but far too many people don't use said power. Society has only expanded, not improved and needs tailoring because you can only stretch it so much.

Pretty much the only thing else that changed is how those in majority power rule, not by fear anymore but by deception. Misleading people into thinking things other than what they mean by using words with open interpretation which people "assume" it's meaning, never using specific and binding words. Many even flat out lie. There's a reason why the lawyer cliche exists & is tied with you know what.

Before anyone says there are a lot of people doing charity work, again, society has only expanded and not improved like technology & collective intelligence has improved. Plenty have done charity work hundreds, even thousands of years ago. Technology and intelligence are tools that people use, just that. Society is how humans act and think, and are structured. Even on Mira, society is the same.

Now, if the powerful actually took actions like paying for all cancer treatments for example, not just give their crumbs to make it seem like they care, THEN you can say society improved. Yes, some powerful people help with passion & a good percentage of effort but they are rare. The building called society is expanding with the same structure & mat for centuries & the pillars weren't reinforced.

Imagine society as those blocks that you stack & try to remove pieces without it falling, society was what, 1 mil or 100 mil back then? Now it's stretched to over 6 billion with the same perentage of poor middle class and powerful people with them at the top and the non reinforced middle class and most noticeably the poor straining to bear the weight forced on them.

When the pillars of society (middle class & the poor) collapse, those being supported will fall painfully while crushing the collapsed pillars. The pillars need to be reinforced. And I'm sorry for this wall of text. Very sorry!
