    I agree, but I think somewhat of a balance is called for. The Archie comics brought ALOT to to the table as far as character arcs, but did tend to lack a dire tone sometimes. On the other hand, Fleetway was maybe a tad too dark, but brought some thought-provoking themes. A fusion of the two would not be out of place.

    i felt like Archie had over-complicated some things (Eggman being a robot, the Genesis Wave, etc.), while Fleetway just said"Robotnik was always Eggman, and he just put on a coat before Sonic Adventure

    Those were some flaws in Archie. It may have been confusing, but I thought the Eggman thing was pretty clever. In my opinion, it was an interesting way to bring back the main villain by using a previously established plot point. But the simplicity in Fleetway was appreciated. The Genesis Wave was a little inexcusable, tho.
