Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U

A new Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo Switch is inevitable. It's too big of a franchise for Nintendo to not continue with it. The real question is whether or not Masahiro Sakurai will be on board. Sakurai himself isn't certain if he'll return, even though he's quite confident the series will continue. Until Nintendo unveils their plans with the series, we're twiddling our thumbs. (Comments)

    I don't feel like twiddling though, as I want to put that time toward something. I've decided to do a 3 Part list. One focused on characters that will LIKELY be playable in the next Smash Bros. One focused on characters I WANT to be playable in the next Smash Bros. And one focused on characters that DESERVE to be in the next Smash Bros.

    I'll do one a day starting tomorrow. I'm also establishing some rules. I'm only going to mention each character once. If a character shows up on the characters that are likely to get in, they're not going to show up on the other two lists. This will keep the lists fresh. I'm also only going to feature one series per each individual list. In other words, only 1 Mario character per list.

    I also need to be clear that outside of the list of characters I want to see in Smash, these will be unbiased lists: I'm not going to include/exclude characters merely because either myself or other players don't like them. With that in mind, if you want to see what I have to say, then follow and wait for the posts.
