ok so i got kirin.now im going after gold rathian.any rips?

    DON'T use Power moves (G. Rathi may counter). Use a thunder weapon (Lagi hammer is probably best). Equip BEFORE 19f because it goes right to her. Have extra hearts and Lifepowders ready. Use lots of Tech, sometimes Speed. Using a fire monster like Brachy or Peco may be best because Kirin has low health. Maybe teach a fire monster thunder attacks? Be ready to heal A LOT.

    im thinking about using my yian garuga.since its a technical,and it has good fire resistence.is the kirin sword a good option cause i dont like hammer

    I don't know. I don't have a Kirin weapon because I like the Lagi hammer so much. XD It has 107 damage right now, and still has an upgrade or two to go.

    Gold is easy use an ivory lagiacrus and spam thunder attacks also transfer kirins thundercall to an ivory and you got yourself a heavy hitter with a 5 strike thunder move :D

    Hang on a second, Gold Rathian can counter speed... not power. I fought him and won without using speed. This must be a mistake. I fought him two time and notice speed counter. I was blindside by using speed!

    Oh, whoops! I fought her again yesterday for her armor and you're right. She counters speed, not power. I must have been thinking of Silver Rathalos. X)

    My preferance for huntin a gold rathian would be a seregios as it's tendency as a monstie is tech, so you may build up the kinship gauge while letting the g.rathian use speed and your seregios just winning the HtH
