    I think a stance character would be neat. Zelda used to be one, but Dante(Devil May Cry) with style switching or Link with his boomarang replaced with cycling through different weapon types on demand(think BOTW's 2hander/1hander/spear system) would be neat. They'd wind up having a ton of depth, with the biggest movelists in the game and be pretty fun especially if the stance change is really fast!
