Zelda Theory: It's a humble one, and it's probably already been said by others, but here we go: The two clawshots from Skyward Sword greatly resemble the pair from Twilight Princess. I would guess that they are the same items and they got separated in the long time span in between. And the hookshot in Ocarina of Time was an attempt to replicate the ancient technology in the clawshot.

    I also considered the gust bellows from Minish Cap and Skyward Sword, but the designs are quite different. The one in Skyward Sword has a nozzle and the one in Minish Cap is just a jar. Wind spewing items aren't all that unique either, as we see several others. They're most likely different items. Any other thoughts on items used by multiple Links (and don't say the Master Sword!)?

    Also, consider this: Is the hookshot a knock-off of the clawshot or an improved version? Consider the reach of each and the different surfaces they can attach to.
