Hint

A conern I have if Dr. Mario, Lucina and Dark Pit become alts.

Will they be like Olimar/Alph and take up 4 costume slots? I seriously hope not. If they do return as alts Mario, Marth, Pit and Olimar should have 12 alts, 6 for them, 6 for Dr. Mario, Lucina, Dark Pit and Alph.

    It isn't realistic that she gets cut. I wouldn't buy the game without her. No one would have had the idea to cut Luigi in the past games since he was almost 100% like Mario in the first smash. Neither did I. Luigi is different now. Lucina will be too. And I hope Ganondorf will get a fitting moveset too once. But THAT'S unrealistic I think :/

    Because you can't accept the fact that she is the most likely Fire Emblem character to get cut. There are literally only three ways this can go: alt, dlc or cut completely. If Ganondorf, a character with actual moveset potential, still doesn't have his own unique moveset then what chance does Lucina have?

    ^I remember hearing that Sakurai doesn't like to change the move set of characters all that much. That explains why Ganondorf still doesn't have an original moveset.

    Jack is right, we could go alt, new moveset, or cut. Personally, I think she could be good for a new moveset, or just bring her out of here.

    Exactly, it's up to Sakurai but we're trying to look at this realistically. I don't see Lucas' chance of returning being all that high which is a real shame because I main him and would love to see him become a series regular. But you're pretty much saying Lucina won't be cut because you don't want her to be. Alt, dlc or cut completely are her only options.

    I talk about a new moveset the whole time. But Jack pretends to have the knowledge of things, no one of us can actually know. There are enough rubbish chars that can get cut instead.

    I don't pretend to know anything, not my style. If I know something I know it and if I don't I don't but the point of this post was to look at things realistically. While we're on the subject of pretending to have knowledge on things what are these "rubbish" characters you think should be cut?

    Going back to the original topic, I think characters that have another character as an alt (Such as Alph and Olimar) should have 12 alts to share between them instead of 8.

    Or maybe 8 each to keep things fair. If Little Mac gets 16 (I think) alts why can't a character slot like Olimar/Alph or any future characters like that get 8 alts each?
