Botw Link 4 smash

I know this will probably happen, but Link needs a bit of a gameplay change too. Botw added in more weapon types, and switching between those. If that could just be implemented, Link would be Smash's first coherent stance character. Just imagine not having only the usual 16 moves but nearly 3 times that amount and all easily accessed at any time during the match.

    Honestly Zelda/Pkmn trainer were more like tag-ins and Samus turning into ZSS and vice versa was a final smash gimmick.

    I mean they usually update Link in Smash to match the look oh his most recent game so I can definitely see that happening. Although im not sure about the whole changing / breaking weapons thing because i'm not gonna lie it was really annoying & it ruined the Gameplay aspect of the Game for me & a lot of people. So maybe being about to manually switch weapons like Shulk's Monados would work better

    (I keep getting error messages when I want to post, so I'll make it short) I wouldn't expect a drastic moveset change for Link. Weapon durability is a good thing.

    Dang I almost forgot about Shulk! RIP, but that was kinda what I was thinking anyways! I mean really if you think about it he'd probably be unique enough to be his own character with those kind of mechanics... but then we'd have 3 characters named Link lol. Then again they're all different characters. Reincarnation is weird like that. Similar fashion sense, same name, completely different people.

    Fun Fact: The idea of weapons breaking was actually an early idea for SSBB. There are unused textures in the game for certain character's weapons being broken, like Link's shield and Marth's sword.

    @Prsboys: I'd rather get something else than a 3rd Link for a 6th Zelda character. Heck, Wolf Link would be a better pick than BotW Link.
