Well during this current arc alone, we got to see Majin Buu finally fight at his fullest. We got Android 17 to not only return but tag with 18 again defeating at least 3 opponents. Goku tags with Hit while Goku was in his Super Saiyan God form, being the first time he's transformed in that state since the first season / Movie. And recently just seeing Hit take on the current antagonist, Jiren.

This arc has been so far a bit of a love letter to Dragon Ball fans. Gohan even got back is "Mystic" form back. Though I'm still salty about Buu being replaced by Frieza, but even Frieza has brought in some neat moments in this arc. I dare say this arc may be a bit better than the last which involved Future Trunks and an Evil Goku.
