Who do you all think the Goddess of Time mentioned in Majora's Mask is? I've seen cases for Nayru, Farore, and Hylia.

    First, Hylia. Fi says she sits on the edge of time, so this seems a good choice to me. It might also explain why she's so willing to help the Hero of Time because of her time spent as a mortal with him in Skyward Sword. Plus, we learn in Breath of the Wild that she is still known to the Hylians, despite her never being mentioned before in previous games. So goddess of time could just be an epithet

    Second, Nayru. Nayru has been associated with time travel through her oracle in Oracle of Ages, and through Zelda, the Sage of Time who bears Nayru's part of the triforce. Furthermore, she's specified as the one who gave law to the world, which some presume to mean things like gravity and time.

    Third, Farore. Farore is the goddess associated with Link through her piece of the triforce. The goddess of time seems to favor Link since she helps him out throughout Majora's Mask. Furthermore, the scrapped third oracle game was supposed to have time traveling puzzles, but since it was cancelled Nayru's game got these instead.

    I think Goddess of Time is a title for Nayru. She created the physical laws of the world which would include gravity, time, and presumably moral laws through the inhabitants's conscience to live by.
