Super Smash Bros. for WiiU and 3DS (Or Super Sm4sh Bros. as the fans call it) became an instant buy for my library from the hype built around it. And why wouldn't it be? The last entry, Brawl became one of the best selling Wii titles and to see it evolve further on a handheld was mindblowing. I bought both in the nick of time just to get that exclusive Club Nintendo soundtrack too!

I wasn't too thrilled about the Amiibo idea but as of this post I own the Link, Samus, Fox, and Mega Man Smash Bros. Amiibo figures. I never really used them for the game per se, except Link, and I used the other ones for the different games I owned. The online play has improved (a bit) but there's still lag going on in some fights, but to make up for it you could upload replays to Youtube.

The DLC and character selection from the start colored me impressed though. To finally see Pac-Man duking it out with Mario and Sonic was one thing, but not at all was I expecting Cloud to appear in the game, nor Roy, one of my most used fighters when playing Super Smash Bros. Melee years ago. It's sad to see the online features go, but I'll always treasure this game for the memories it brought.
