I have been thinking about the legend of zelda: link between worlds and the Lorule version of the triforce and was wondering what you guys (and gals of course) were thinking about this. If the Hyrule version stands for Wisdom, Courage and power...then does the Lorule version stand for Foolishness, Cowardice and Frailty? what do you think? Feel free to comment!

  • I'd say Ignorance over foolishness.

  • I suppose that is a good idea. But Foolishness doesn't nessisarily mean stupid I think. Hilda had a smart plan but it was unwise because It would have ment destroying another world instead of doing as Link and Zelda had and wishing for another Triforce...but I see your point though...Hilda was stupid for not doing that in the fist place. Making her Triforce piece stand for Ignorance. Good idea!

  • It could just be lower standards of courage, power, and wisdom.

  • Yeah...I guess. They never truly stated the pieces' names but since everything else in Lorule is the opposite of whats in Hyrule then perhaps the triforce is too.

  • No, I don't think so, honestly. And I don't think Hilda was foolish, honestly. Her ethics just prioritized her own world over Hyrule. The absence of their triforce, however, may be the reason those virtues seem lacking in Lorule, particularly in a certain cowardly rabbit.

  • ...That could be VERY true, Wolf. The reason why they don't have these atributes but instead the opposite is because their triforce is destroyed. But still on the matter of Hilda being (or not being) foolish is that though her prioritization of her own kingdom was correct, she intended to destroy Hyrule by stealing their triforce when there was a clear political solution to the problem.
