The Swift Sail is great but I wish it would replace the old sail outright instead of having to keep switching between the two.

And even with the UI turned off it still tells me to press A to swap the sails which bugs me. There doesn't need to be an arrow behind the boat anymore either because with the Swift Sail the wind is always at your back so you always know which way the wind is blowing.

    I don't think it's that big of a deal. Plus, the regular sail is still useful for if you're trying to make small adjustments to your position or maneuver around a field of obstacles. You don't always want to go as fast as you possibly can.

    True. It is hard to maneuver with the Swift Sail but if you just put the sail away completely you're able to decelerate and turn easily when you need to.
