So, I just found an astonishing sidebar note in Hyrule Historia. Others have probably already seen it, but the wording is quite similar to a description in Breath of the Wild, and I think it's significant for timeline theorists.

    The quote is from the entry for the original Legend of Zelda. This seems to be an indicator that Breath of the Wild is in the Downfall Timeline. Calamity Ganon seems a natural next step for this mindless, inhuman Ganon to descend to. The point about Ganon being defeated many times is also repeated in Breath of the Wild.

    For whatever reason, many people keep ignoring this evidence when even Aonuma stated this many times before. I agree this helps the Downfall timeline.
