The ending of BotW Is Slightly Different In Japanese. When Calamity Ganon turns into Dark Beast Ganon, in English Zelda says "He [Ganon] has given up on reincarnation and assumed his pure, enraged form." The Japanese version translates to say "This form was born from his obsessive refusal to give up on revival."

English localization, which says that Ganon turned into his Dark Beast form because he gave up on being revived, the Japanese translation indicates that Ganon's strong determination to be reincarnated transformed him into his beast form. It's a relatively small difference, but this affects the ending and implies that Ganon will come back someday.

Ganon/Ganondorf always comes back. This was proven in Skyward Sword - first game in the timeline - where SPOILERS: Demise promises Link that he will place a curse on his and Zelda's bloodline, and that he will always be reborn and will always come back to be embroiled with them for eternity in a neverending war. Something like that, anyway.

Thinking about it, Demise's curse is eternal, so the japanese translation makes better sense.
