New Falco 40% true-combo discovered!

Whilst practicing Falco the other day, I found a true-combo that deals a whopping 40%! I did my research and since I couldn't find it in any Falco guide/tutorial or any set on YouTube, I'm going to claim myself as the founder of it. I've only tried it against a couple of characters and from what I can say so far it doesn't work on everybody...

  • So you said it is true?

  • Nice! It's not hard at all to pull off once you get used to it but it can be a bit tricky to time the d-air and the u-air correctly. And as said, I discovered this recently, meaning their might be even better follow ups!

  • @Ian well against some characters, depending on weight etc., it might not be true, I haven't researched as much into it to be sure if it's true against everyone, but everytime I've tried it, it works...

  • UPDATE: The combo is not true against floaty characters like Jigglypuff, Mewtwo and Peach (which where the only floaty characters I tried it on.) However it still works against Mewtwo and Peach with the correct timing, but they can dodge it or simply jump out of the throw. It does not work at all against Jigglypuff since she gets launched too far by the down-throw.

  • I made one up too. Mine goes Down throw, into run up/ reverse f tilt, into turn around f tilt, into f tilt [aimed downwards] into SHFF UpAir into run up/ reverse back air

  • It works most commonly on Fast fallers like Roy who [after d throw] have shorter time frame to tech making it easier on them

  • this is not even new or true at all. You can tech the dair before they lock you lol

  • besides there are way better falco combos you can do

  • The combo is true after you land the d-air and lock them. No other Falco combo does 40%, so while there are combos like d-throw into double n-air which are easier to pull off, they only deal about 20-30%, making this combo situational but stronger than anything else
