    I like every Mario Bros game I have played and I think that is all of em -here are Mario games I own and play- Nes Super Mario, Mario Lost Levels, Mario2, Mario3, Mario64, Mario Galaxy, Mario Galaxy2, Mario 3D World, New MarioU, Mario Land, Mario Land2, Mario Maker, All Mario Karts, Mario Spotrts Superstar. I got over 100 Mario toys inc scale electrix, RC cars, Amiibo's, Mario playing cards+more.

    The buttons are supposedly complicated, but it's impossible to get a game-over, so I'd say you'd be fine.

    Is it impossible to get a game over because I will be dying all the time due to complicated controls? I remember Mario as simple controls but gameplay could be tricky due to button timing. Have things changed?

    In Super Mario Odyssey, you basically have infinite lives. You can lose a life, but you'll restart where you were prior to your defeat, miscalculation, ect.. That way, you don't need to revisit a world again if you lose all your lives.
