    I have only rented Breath of the Wild twice, but I think I like it a bit more than everything else. Other than that, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess are pretty well tied for my favorite 3D Zelda title and I think A Link to the Past is still my favorite.

    Favorite 2D title. A Link Between Worlds is pretty solid, but ALttP gains a lot of points for nostalgia (it was among the first video games I played, if I recall correctly) and ALBW loses some points for being on a handheld device. It's not that I don't like the 3DS, but I've always favored console games.

    Of course, there's also the point that, as with Super Mario 3D Land and World, I compartmentalize ALBW as a 2D/3D hybrid, so of that disqualifies it from consideration as my favorite 2D game.

    As always, it's Ocarina of Time for me. Breath of the Wild came close, but the level design from Ocarina of Time couldn't be trumped without proper dungeons beyond Hyrule Castle in my books. My favourite Top-Down title is without a doubt Minish Cap with Link's Awakening, and ALttP as close rivals.
