with wii u all nintendo corp had to do is keep the videocard , just add a new motherboard with 10core cpu with12gigs of gdr ram,with external hard drive support and continue using 25 gigs cdrom(PROBLEM SOLVED)(2) with the switch just add unversal cartridge slot for past gameboy games reverse the format for switch games by making the games on mini cds, and sdcard to save games on.(PROBLEM SOLVED.)

    so what if third party make a game an they use two 25gigs cdrom to put the game on and then the consumer had install the game on a hard drive to play it so what it would not bother us one bit.

    MiniCD are awful storage medium for a portable console. Having a disc drive in a portable console would be stupid too. Why burn a game to 25GB mini disc when they can just make a 64GB game card when the need arise? Or just download it to the minisd card.

    It's not harder storing game data on a sd card. For someome who is always talking about cpu cores, gpu, ram, etc.. you should already know 1)a laser drive would be a battery drain in a portable console 2)it requires too much load times for the kind of instant access a portable needs 3)accidentially drop your console and there's a high chance the delicate moving parts of a laser drive will break

    Prices of SD cards are dropping. The price to produce Switch game cards will come down. With game cards you don't need to do an install and the highest capacity game card is 32GB.

    I can't agree with keeping the same GPU.. it definately needed a better one! Also even I can agree on no mini-disks again nor any kind of cartridge slot for backwards compatibility. They have some parts of the Switch right but now they need to expand on the Switch idea to make it more like the Wii U, not the opposite!
