    I think Shulk has potential because of his Advanced Tech that no other character has, plus his Monados themselves can provide a whole bunch of crazy things making him really versatile. It's just his start up frames that hold him back, but that's where his potential comes in. In my eyes, less advantages & more drawbacks means more potential

    What about his Shadow Intangibility Frames that make him completely invincible during the End Lag of his counter. That's pretty useful if optimized correctly

    honestly, most characters have potential in competitive. except for jigglypuff, her flaws greatly outweigh her weaknesses
