Heres a helpful tip: If you lose your stylus for your 3DS, then get a No. 2 pencil and break the lead on it. That's what I'm doing right now and it works. A mechanical pencil without lead also works too.

I've used a mechanical pencil before on my touchscreen, and it never scratched it.

Becareful, even a plastic stylus will scratch your screen. Elite Beat Agents burned a hole in my DS.

Well the only games that I have that uses the stylus a lot are Phantom Hourglass and Tomodachi Life and I don't play those games very often. My point is, I don't use my stylus a lot.
