This scene is one of several reasons why Doug is my favorite character in XCX: he's a man after my own heart. Whereas the others just stood and watched while Lao took off with the Ares, Doug was the only one willing to shot.

*typo: I meant to say, 'willing to take the shot'. Of course, Lao realized that and made sure Doug wouldn't pull the trigger. But part of me was hoping he'd call Lao's bluff and go for it anyway.
