    realistically i would hope it would come out in 2-3 years but if it was long like 7-9 years i would be a middle-aged man which would look terrible considering how much i like smash bros i would feel too old to play and still feel like that this to this day, but i always keep telling myself that i will play until they stop making smash bros games.

    Considering how hugely popular Smash is, it'll definitely come to the Switch at some point. I wouldn't expect Smash 5 until around 2020, though.

    This is completely up to Sakurai; as he has a bad shoulder and can't just drop everything he's doing and make another Smash game because we demand him to do so. If anything, I'd like a new game rather than a port on the Switch.
