5 reasons why Banjo needs to be in Smash 5:

1. He and Kazooie have more than enough unique moves that can fit into a Smash moveset. 2. He's a popular ballot choice. 3. He hasn't been in a game in years. 4. Diddy Kong would be happy to see him again. 5. Rare was an important company to Nintendo and should have at least one rep.

    Rare is now part of Microsoft, a rival to Nintendo. so what would be the purpose of giving them a rep other than fan service? It WAS an important company for Nintendo, but those days are long gone.

    Banjo was actually considered for Melee but didn't get in because of Microsoft, but now Microsoft is offering Banjo to be in Smash so let's have him.

    I disagree with reasons 4 & 5. DKR isn't canon, and Nintendo hated working with Rare towards the end of their contract.
