The Burrowing Pikmin: Olimar throws it onto the ground where it digs under an enemy to attack it from below. This Pikmin can chase digging enemies to force them back to the surface to finish them off. It digs faster than any other Pikmin. They can dig past the new fence walls (Specifically for them) from underground to the other side to activate a switch/button to allow Olimar to pass.
