You break the candle in half, two halves make a whole, since you now have a hole, you climb through it to exit the room. That's the "play on words" method.

You didn't mention a roof, so i'd just use the ladder to leave. if there was a roof, i'd probably throw the ladder at the door.

ecnal is correct! ding ding ding! im surprised someone figured it out so quickly. there is no roof, therefor you use the ladder to excape! good job, im impressed.. unless you looked up the answer, then that means im upset, but still pretty decent!

I just thought about it for a bit. The candle and the match don't work because A: there's no way to light the match B: even if you did, the "Area" might be fire-proof And i can't look it up because my 3ds browser doesn't like me.

Clever. Alternatively I do have some experience kicking open locked doors, as the door to my room locked and wouldn't unlock a few years back. The call of nature made me desperate enough that I didn't care if the door was damaged. :P
