Question

Can't play online?

So, I boot up my copy of SSB3DS, and I go to play online. Or...I try to, at least. Thing is, for some reason, when the game finally begins to connect to the server, instead of taking me to the mode selection menu, it just says "A communication error has occured." I know it isn't my internet, because the Wii U version works just fine. Does anyone know how to fix this?
