I have a very poor view of myself. About a week ago I got yelled at by my father for treating my husband like a doormat just for slightly raising my voice higher to tell him to not use the baby wipes to clean the air conditioner. Nevermind I got my husband a lease on a car, got him a Crunchyroll sub, got him private voice acting lessons, suggested to go to car museums in our trips and other things

  • All I ask for is to resolve any issues among ourselves and I say my husband also agrees with me but my father is convinced my husband lies to make me feel better. My husband is upset that others think they know what he thinks.

  • Wow… Parents…

  • Even after being a parent yourself.

  • You'll be better! With someone like you raising Cece, she'll grow up to be as pure as the squid who's fan she's named after! She'll grow up to not judge unfairly, etc.! By the way, your father sounds like your father-in-law.

  • My in-laws are the chill ones. A complete reversal of what is expected.

  • That's… quite sad. You stay strong Giraffe!

  • I just read it… VOICE ACTING LESSONS! You best wife ever!

  • My husband loves to voice act and I uploaded some of his voice clips. Makes a great Mario, Luigi, Spongebob, Patrick, Squidward and many others.

  • Cool! I think I'd make a good voice actor. During my playthrough of Undertale, I did the voices of different characters and my mum thought I was talking to someone.

  • I can get him to do his voices during a Mario Kart 8 Wii U or Smash Wii U session where voice chat can be done if you want to hear him.

  • Socializing isn't really my strong point, so I asked my mom about this. She said that if your husband isn't upset about it, then you did nothing wrong. She recommended that you do bit of acting when your parents are around and go back to normal when they leave. Also, buy your husband his own box of wipes. I use them for all sorts of cleaning.

  • Can't do that, Girafarig. Sorry. Have you Americans got a new Splatfest?

    Yeahs0
  • Not yet. If we got the Breakfast Splatfest I would love warm pancakes/waffles but with baby it is cold cereal all week. So would I answer what I would want vs what actually happens?

    Yeahs1
  • I was gonna say something, but Bessie pretty much took the words right out of my mouth.

    Yeahs1
  • I know, right?! It's a tough decision! I've never been this conflicted over a Splatfest. The closest I've been is Barbarian vs. Ninja. I don't care who wins, both are good. One the one hand: BAAAACOOOONN!! On the other hand: MIIIIILLLLKK!!

  • It really doesn't matter if your father's upset or not; in the long run it's more if your husband's upset. If your husband isn't upset, then you're both cool. I mean, sure we don't wanna make our parents angry either; however, in this case how does your father know how your husband feels? Has he asked your husband? If not, then he's only making presumptions and that's no good. If so, then fine.
