Um no. Zelda month has been celebrated in February for decades because of its anniversary. Why on earth would it be on November?

  • @V unless this is a joke, PBG, a YouTuber supported by Nintendo made up this "Zelda Month." Now it's a Zelda tradition done by many YouTubers.

Ah ok. Either way, that's a bit nonsensical. Just because a random guy online made up a Zelda Month, it shouldn't be a tradition to represent all fans. As I said, Zelda month has been celebrated for years since almost its release 31 years ago. By this logic, any one of us can get online and call any month the Zelda Month. But as far as the true month is concerned, it's celebrated in February.

@Slim I'm referring to the original Zelda. It was released in February 21, 1986. Since then, it's anniversary has been a tradition for Zelda fans. I enjoyed Skyward Sword, but let's not treat that as the defining starting point of a tradition. As I stated, there's no stopping any other fan from calling other months "Zelda Month," so using the official one (February) has always been standard.

Nintendo Power magazine even dedicated several articles to Zelda in February back then for several years up until after ALTTP. Even the earliest Nintendo forums recognized February as the "Month of Zelda" to anticipate future releases and general discussions. Whether you choose to celebrate it on February is your choice, but I'm just informing you on the traditions that have been around longer.
