  • Since it's less then a week left for Miiverse, and few are going to see this,I thought I'd slip an Atari 2600 game into this....(Also I'm out of ideas....)

    Yeahs1
  • Lol, at first glance I miss took Pitfall Harry for another 80s Atari legend but in a different sense....E.T. The game so bad Atari literally buried it in the desert.

    Yeahs1
  • Actually that was the Pac Man for Atari 2600 fiasco that got buried in the desert, the E.T. fiasco got buried in a New Jersey Landfill....both were awful games that led to Atari's flareout in 1984.

    Yeahs1
  • It's interesting that a lot of people don't remember just how bad Pac Man was for Atari 2600,Atari overmarketed and overproduced the game and ended up with THOUSANDS of unsold cartridges!

    Yeahs1
  • I had one of those E.T. Cartridges. An endless horror of a game that left your brain fried as a kid. Could it be this bad a game or am I missing some hidden secret that turns this game into the Mecca of all games? No it was just that bad.

    Yeahs1
  • E.T. was an example of a rush job game...the head of Atari wanted the game done while the movie was still in theaters, the result was a bug filled mess of a game quickly sent to stores...

    Yeahs1
  • Activision would do the same thing with "Super Pitfall" on the NES...That was the biggest waste of money ever,I know,I bought that game!

    Yeahs1
  • I actually liked E.T. when I got it it & we paid $75 for Pacman when it first came out! Big mistake. Ms. Pacman was MUCH better!

    Yeahs2
  • Yes,Ms. Pac-Man for Atari 2600 was a vast improvement, yet the damage from the huge loss because of the Pac-Man fiasco was already done to Atari and the end was near....

    Yeahs0
