I've read all of the Harry Potter books and seen all the movies. If you can tell I love Harry Potter... I read all the books of Percy Jackson and the Heros of Olempus (can't spell that). From of all the series, I love the third books.

Doesn't anyone listen to 'Sound Garden', and 'Alice in Chains' anymore... I miss the music of the early 90s... what is 'dabbing'...? If anyone needs me, I shall be in the record store alphabetizing the 'alternative rock' albums. (I feel so old...)

On that note, I wish so dearly that 'Chris Cornell', 'Lane Staley', and 'Kurt Kobain' were all still inhabiting this plain of existence... it almost feels like hard alternative rock has faded, as if an apparition that haunts the darkened corners of my slowly beating heart. (I suddenly became very 'poetic' there, my apologies.) My favorite 'Legend of Zelda' game 'A Link to the Past' is from then.

Actually, Matthew, my very favorite band 'U2' released it's first album in 1980, actually (Titled 'Boy'.) Some of my other favorite music is from the 60s and 70s as well. Namely 'Led Zepplin', 'The Guess Who', and 'The Doors', among many others.

Oh, I see. I apologize, I was mistaken. Those are some very fine bands indeed. 'U2' was the very first concert I ever attended. I own alot of their memorabilia and merchandise. I also saw 'Sound Garden' in concert after they reunited, before 'Chris Cornell's' tragic and sudden demise. I also greatly enjoyed 'Chris's' work with 'Audio Slave'. No one sings like him anylonger, sorrowfully...

I see. I am quite happy to hear that there are still those that enjoy great music, and they are not only those advanced in age. If you love 'U2', then you should know of the album 'War', it is one of my favorite albums ever, possibly my favorite, though, it is highly difficult to say that definitivly. 'Bono' is also a truly blessed vocalist and songwriter, reminiscent of the poets of yesteryear.

Wow! You could write a song just out of that I'd bet! You seem very poetic, I take it you enjoy music very much? And yes Bono has a wonderful voice, my dad and I used to listen to U2 together, before our falling out. Alternative Rock is probably my favourite genre, though I'll listen to most anything, except country music.. Which is ironic, being that I was born in Tennessee.

I am not creative or talented enough to be considered poetic, however, thank you for your praise just the same. It is wonderful to have something in common to help you bond with another person, especially a parent. I am sorry to hear you are estranged from your father, however. That must be very difficult for both of you. I hope one day that you may be able to reconnect.

Thank you, though I am certain that that will not happen, as it was by my choice. However, I do not think you are untalented, just by speaking with you I can see that you indeed have some poetic abilities, whether you see them or not. Love of music often points to a person having an artistic side, whether it's through art, music, writing, or even just having the sense of it all in appreciation.
