Though I was unable to play with the ZNG, completing every Drablands challenge and the Den of Trials was rewarding.

My biggest accomplishment is expanding my gaming experience. Before MV, I had yet to play a Zelda title. Now I've played more than half of them. Before MV, I never touched an RPG. I did not know what Metroid was. I had no clue what FE was. I could continue, but you get the gist... I like to think that I've grown through games.

Getting the world record for most hits in Star Fox Zero multiple times. I was able to take all my abilities from past games and crank them up to a new level.

I had thought almost nobody outside the ZNG had played my little demo. I'm glad to see you guys enjoyed it! And I'm glad I could be there to witness you expand your gaming horizons, Blake. I like to think I'm part of the reason you're now an RPG fan.

My personal accomplishments? First and foremost: Wii Fit U. I know, sounds silly, but it gave me the motivation to lose 40 lbs and get into the best shape of my life. I still weigh myself on it every morning just to track my progress. Other major accomplishments include 100%ing both Hyrule Warriors games. Not that it was especially difficult, but it was by far the most time consuming.

I’m also very proud of all the progress I made in the StreetPass games. Not that those games are all too enjoyable the 500th time around, but the requirements to succeed certainly made my progress impressive. Nintendo Land, despite being among the first games of the Miiverse era still ranks among my favorites. Earning every stamp in that game is a true testament to a player’s skill, dedication,

and ability to adapt to different gaming styles. I never did get the perfect run badge for the F-Zero or Takamaru attractions, but that’s okay! 100%ing all the rest still sticks with me as some of my proudest moments. I need to mention here the Sakurai games: Kid Icarus and Smash Bros. KI was my favorite original property that came from the 3DS. Beating 9.0 difficulty on every stage nearly

broke my resolve, but somehow I persevered! I even took it upon myself to 100% both Smash Bros for 3DS & Wii U. In fact, I beat Classic on 9.0 and All-star on Hard with every single character in both games! Sakurai knows how to design a tough challenge and I loved taking them on. Shout out to some of the brutal platforming challenges in the many Mario and Donkey Kong games! Those were rough!

Finally, I must mention how much fun it was to play with all of you. From Zelda to Metroid to Splatoon to Mario Maker—it was amazing to play alongside all of you. Thank you for designing clever stages, tricky trivia, and silly challenges. Thank you for sharing your impressions, accomplishments, and humor as you journeyed through your adventures. Thank you for being my competition online, my allies

I'm just happy to have been around during this time and enjoying all the great 3ds games. Losing Miiverse functionality is sad, but it's the nature of the online era. We've dealt with worse. Wii and DS online shutdown was a killer blow. And we all know Wii U and 3DS will lose all online someday. Just be glad we got to enjoy it all while it lasted.

Getting over 300 medals in Super Mario Maker was a big one - the fact that there were so many people who liked my lame stages is a humbling fact, and when I got a little too prideful, there would always be someone to remind me that my stages were far from perfect (which is not a bad thing).

Another big one - Finding a rival and friend in Splatoon, who I still play with and against in Splatoon 2. Overcoming unfinshed childhood business in Mario Golf 64 by actually becoming decent at it was huge for me too! And lastly, playing Mario Kart 8 with Twitch streamer and speedrunner, iateyourp1e was the best thing the game ever did for me
