Time Traveling

I don't get why this topic is so... debateable. I do it all the time... Is this a real problem?

People think it's 'chеаτing'. Honestly if the game didn't want us to do it, there wouldn't be the option for it. There are supposed to be consequences like more weeds appearing but there really isn't.

Eh… I don’t really care. There’s no right or wrong way to enjoy Animal Crossing. I just prefer playing in real time, the way the game was designed to be played. Fast-forwarding or rewinding takes away a sense of accomplishment when my goal is to nurture and beautify my town.

During the 1st year some players didn't want to drop by a town set in a different season. They wanted to wait and play it in their own town. Also they didn't want to see all the seasons. I don't TT in my main town but do in my others. It's not for unlocking things. It's so I don't have to play 6 towns on the same day. Everyone should play the game the way they want to.

When travelling is used to speed building construction, it is rightly criticised. (One can now instead pay money in Pocket Camp.-) New Leaf's charm is its real-time play: season & time, with clocks synchronized. Still, I travel rather than use a Night Owl Ordinance. Once a season I enact the Beautiful Ordinance, sell turnips, chat with all villagers, then travel 6mo back to refresh grass.
