Why do we still argue about this? Sonic is dead. And while I admit I am not a Mario fan, I can say he's got YEARS left before he's gone. And actually, "Sonic was never good". Can we agree that neither would exist if Atari or Magnavox didn't and be done?

To tell you the truth, I think Nintendo was responsible for SEGA getting back on their feet after their first drop. Most of SEGA’s games are often on some of Nintendo’s consoles these days, so that could be evidence.
