Whoa, this was amazing to read. I'd say Miiverse helped me grow as a person as well. Not with drawings, but Mario Maker, even if I didn't make that many levels, the positive feedback helped me boost my confidence. I didn't have many actual friends back in "secondary school" (kind of equivalent to both Middle and High) either, but people did respect me.

I was that nice, kind of reserved kid that no one wanted to bully... Except like 2 people, but they stopped pretty fast as you should never bully the quiet kid for you never know what level of crazy he is lol. They've been avoiding me the rest of my time there hahaha. I'm a simple guy. You're nice to me, I'm nice to you. You bully me? Heads will roll. Anyway, I disgress.

What I wanted to tell you is that... You might not feel like it, but you're kind of inspiring. It's not much, but this kind of message and how you progressed with your drawings, I truly feel like I should do something similar and see my progress throughout the months and eventually years.

@Zheoferyth: Gotta respond with this account. First of all, just thank you in general, for being one of my best friends on here. IDK if I really conveyed it on my speech, but that's pretty much how I was in school too. I tried being in different types of friend, but never felt comfortable in any of them. I had friends, but not many, I was mainly just respected by everyone.

And surprisingly a lot of people knew my name that I wouldn't have expected to even pay attention to me. As for your last comment...that's truly something I needed to hear, especially from someone I know. I guess it's still just a lack of confidence at times, but it can be hard to know what people actually think of what I've been doing, and if they really do care or not.

I think drawing can be a really unique hobby in the fact that looking back, your growth is apparent. But also when you're the one drawing, each one can bring back memories. I know you've expressed some interest in wanting to draw, and like my story said, the biggest step is really just to start. I didn't have much free time even back when I was drawing here everyday

But it's just the habit that you need to start, and then things get easier from there. There's always times that are frustrating, or hard to overcome, but I think the whole thing pays off in the end.

I was a very shy person. But Miiverse has helped become social, yes you read that right. Although I never was a good drawer, I made so many friends. I'll fully explain in a later post, but, I'm debating whether it should amongst 1 million MM57s or not... But great story CutterL! I'm happy for you!

At my school, I'm kinda weird, I speak my mind quickly, I'm rude, etc. People don't really like me... but miiverse has actually made my life change. I have friends here and It's really helpec my social skills. So, mv is a place where you're not judged by race, or personality, or anything like that. It's a place where expressing yourself isn't a fault. Miiverse is like a different world to me.

I also want to say thanks for hosting those SMM Maker Meetings. Those meetings were actually what got me started using Miiverse back when I was new to SMM, and they helped me become a better maker as well. We've also had some great discussions, and...

@Mipha/Noah: Well, I'll look forward to the full story tomorrow, or whenever. I'd probably recommend posting it somewhere other than the NSLUC, which is where I'm guess will be most chaotic. Maybe try a SMM or Smash community discussion. And thank you @Sushi Star: It's interesting to hear this site has positively impacted other people's actual lives' too, and I'm glad to hear that.

While it could be annoying at times, Miiverse's strict rules really set it apart from the rest of the internet. For the most part, people seem nice and...more well behaved on here, which I appreciate. @BCH: One of your favorite artists, AND the first person you followed!? I'm sincerely honored to hear that. Often times I don't realize how much of an impact the Maker Meetings have

I'm gonna miss your discussions and posts too. I never found a whole lot of people here that just made interesting discussion topics, but you continually did so.

Unfortunately I don't always have the time to participate, but I usually go take a peak after the post is closed down anyway. @Ben: Thanks, I had a feeling you may have been around Miiverse most of the time silently observing. We don't talk much, but it's been nice knowing you here. Also I'm always impressed with the different gimmicks you discover to include in your SMM levels.
