    Only if you count Elder Scrolls Online, which isn't really a fair comparison considering MMO's have to support thousands of players while a single player game doesn't, not to mention MMO expansions typically focus on making the world bigger and bigger each time.

    BotW is bigger than any of the single player Elder Scrolls games though. It's over 50% bigger than Skyrim, and that's not counting the size added due to BotW's vertical terrain that can be traversed, of which there is much more than Skyrim.

    Elder scrolls 2: Daggerfall is roughly half the size of great Britain, It took someone twelve hours to progress under a quarter of the map.

    I see where you're coming from, but it's debatable as to whether or not that counts as it's terrain was almost entirely randomly generated. That's like saying Minecraft has the biggest world, it's randomly generated by a program rather than being personally crafted by a team.

    An amateur can generate a flat plane for a player to run on and make it far more massive than that and declare that they have the biggest map, it may be devoid of detail or effort, but it's the biggest. That said I'm not knocking Daggerfall, only saying that declaring a massive randomly generated map as the biggest doesn't really mean anything.

    That only puts more points in it's favor. Because it'll different every playthrough. It's still the biggest, it stomps every Zelda game, and best part is. It's an actual High Fantasy World. With Kingdoms, law and court systems, an economy, and even more.

    Those games stink and, most of them are so glitchy, they're unfinishable and barely playable. Extra size is only a good thing when the game is actually good to start with. That's like saying that adding more trash to a city dump makes it even better. Silly. Like what you wanna though...
