We've all shared laughs together. We've all shed tears together. We've fought against each other every now and then. But since those times, look what we have become. A worldwide band of Nintendo brothers, sisters, and friends spanning the globe. And who can say THAT'S not something to be proud of?

When I joined Miiverse back in July 2016, all I wanted to do was post drawings on the Miiverse stage in Sm4sh and upload Mario Maker courses. Even though I fulfilled my wishes, I found something I never thought I would find - friends. It is because of you all that I was finally able to share my drawings with the world. You have all taught me lessons in art but in life.

From you all, I've learned that it's OK to make mistakes. Yes, I've done things on Miiverse that I'm not proud of. I offer my most sincere apologies to those I've done wrong to here on Miiverse. And for whatever wrongs were done to me, I am here to say to these people...that I forgive them. But that is the past now. It's time to think of the future.

Speaking of the future, my plans are concentrating on school, getting my driver's license, and finding a job. When not busy, I'll spend my spare time on Zelda and YouTube. I don't use social media, however. But while it is good to look ahead to the future, it is also important to keep your mind on where you are in the moment. What you are doing.

By that, I am saying, "Cherish the memories you had on Miiverse, no matter what." These memories may teach you something later. However, do not grieve that Miiverse is ending. We may be leaving dear Miiverse friends and memories, but it is always good to keep the good times in your heart. All good things must come to end at some point. Miiverse is no exception.

Even if we didn't use Miiverse as its creators intended, we still made use of it in the best way we could. Whether or not you thought it worked, I'll accept your opinion.

While we may be saying goodbye to one another on Miiverse, we are saying hello to a new world. To new friends. To new challenges to rise up to. Our world is full of [bad word], but it's not too late to look the [bad word] in the eye and ask ourselves "How can we make things better?" Not right. BETTER.

There is a world out there with problems we can't deny. Just as Link makes the choice to risk his life to protect Hyrule, we have the choice to step outside our comfort zones and use the gift of life to show friendship to those around us face to face. Not just through social media.

Fellow Miiversians, I encourage you to leave Miiverse with an open heart and see what you can do to make our world a wonderful place for everyone. Why have social media if you cannot be anything without it? This is a choice I leave to you.

Even art can change the world. If you are interested, pursue a field of art that you can express yourself. Drawing, painting, sculpting, photography, you name it. You may discover a purpose in yourself. But who knows if that's true? You'll have to find out for yourself!

Finally, I would like to thank everyone on Miiverse - users, followers, and friends - for your kindness and support. I'm happy to have spent my time alongside you all. I know you all will go on to do extraordinary things - even if you're not fully aware of what they may be. And whatever it is you are doing, you WILL go far!
