　屋敷の内装は豪邸の外観に違わず絢爛豪華で、広いリビングに入ると真っ先に高級ウィスキーがいくつも並べられた大きな戸棚が目に入る。部屋の真ん中にはアラベスク文様の絨毯が敷かれ、その上にはいかにも高級そうな黒塗りのテーブルと四人は座れる大きなソファーが存在感を放っている。その奥の80インチのテレビ画面も忘れてくれるなと言わんばかりにシャンデリアの光を反射している。　二人はそのソファーに座って疲れただの練習がきつかっただの他愛もない話を続けた。田所「今日練習きつかったね〜」遠野「そうっすね〜」田所「まぁ大会前だからね、仕方ないね」田所「今日タイムはどう？」遠野「まあまあです」しばらく部活の話をしてから田所はかねてから計画していたようにおもむろに話を切り出す。続く

田所「まずうちさぁ、屋上あんだけど……焼いてかない？」　それまでの話からすると少し唐突な気もするが、遠野「あぁ～いいっすね～」　遠野は屈託のない笑顔で快諾した。　田所は少し安堵したのか頬を緩めると「うん」と満足げにリビングを後にした。
