So did nintendo even say why they are closing miiverse? I didn't see any reason why.. its kinda messed up right. it's not like the wii-u is old and outdated

    Same question. My guess is that they decided that the cost of the servers \ staff around miiverse isn't worth it for the amount of users. And if you look at the switch which didn't even come with it, you can tell that they had no future in mind. Sad really.. but I have to say that I myself never really used it much. Kind of regret it now.
