    This has been quite the adventure. I thought about posting something silly on the YouTube community as my last post, but when I thought about where I posted the most, it just didn't make sense. Really, everyone who follows me probably knows me as the animal crossing guy. It doesn't make sense for this goodbye to be anywhere but here.

    When I started my "sketch-a-day" project I was thinking, "How can I practice drawing AND keep Walker from moving out of town?" Flash-forward about a year I was thinking, "Man...if I get banned I guess this is over." Then there was that week I was in Cuba without internet so I didn't post for a week. I didn't really think "eventually this will end" until I hit 1000.

    When I got there I thought, "At some point I won't want to do this anymore. I should have picked an end date." And then we got told that the miiverse was coming to an end, just like everyone had been saying it would since the day after it launched. Suddenly my innocent thought of "Maybe I don't want to do this forever" turned into "I only get to do this for 3 more months."

    When I started this little project I had something like 300 hours in animal crossing and was just signing in every day to water flowers because I wanted to get the gold watering can I now have 889 hours in animal crossing. The miiverse literally doubled how much time I got out of that game. While we're looking at metrics, I have 1253 hours spent on the miiverse. That's 52.25 days.

    When it comes down to it, I met people here that I never would have met otherwise. I got to hang out and be socially awkward, just like in real life. And now here we are at the end. I don't know what to say. I don't know what I'm going to do in all the time that I would have been doing this.

    I'm going to miss you guys. I'm going to miss this place. But, time only goes in one direction, and pawns can only move forward. We just gotta keep rolling onto whatever is next. Maybe we'll see eachother, maybe we won't, but we're all still just travelers in the universe.
